Today I really started to collect money for the AIDS Rochester Red Ribbon Ride. I still have a long way to get to my goal but I am nearly at the point where I have to be. I have been looking forward to doing the 20 mile bike ride (I'm not sure why everyone thinks this is insane it really is not that far on a bike - though I am starting to relate to my SIL!) though I went from having a team of 5 or so to having a team of 3 (one is doing the 5 mile with her son). I am very disappointed about this given that we are merging with this company at the beginning of next year. I really would have like to show more support in riders, though we also do have quite a few volunteering for other tasks (like the water station stuff - which is also necessary).
Oh well I am looking forward to doing a trial run this weekend with Michelle (the one co-worker that is definitely doing the ride with me!). And though Jason's attitude has not changed much he has accepted that I am doing this and does think that I can... now he's just worried that I am going to hurt myself. I can live with that and will be happy to prove to him that I can do this with out hurting myself!

Good luck with the ride. A comfortable seat and good riding shorts are key!
