Today I finally got to tell everyone our good news. They put me in my shirt after breakfast so that it didn't get dirty and we waited patiently for daddy to wake up since I had gotten up at 5 and despite mom and dad's best efforts I would not go back to sleep - so mom got me up at 6-6:30. I ate an early breakfast and was tired but played and we had fun. daddy got up at 9:00 and called G/G Hirsch so we could skype.
It took them only a minute for them to read my shirt - though I made it as obvious as possible by arching back in daddy's lap. Gma just had her mouth open and couldn't say anything for like 5 min! while Gpa asked "Is she trying to tell us something?!" Then they said "yes" and asked me where the baby was. So I had to tell them and give the baby a kiss - for some reason they all love this!
We played and talked for a little while but I was getting tired and Gma had to go to work so we signed off and mom and dad fed me an early lunch. I didn't eat much and they put me down for a nap at 10:30 which is super early for me. but I went to sleep with out a peep and didn't wake up until just after 12:30! Then we got ready for G/G K's house and I got a little snack!
I was wearing a sweatshirt when I got there because mom and dad wanted to be sure that they were both in the room for the unvailing. they finally got their chance after mommy changed my diaper! Grandma was throwing out my diaper so she saw the shirt first and was very excited. Gpa was so busy cooking he didn't see it so I went up to him and pushed on his legs so that he would look at me. and Gma said - "look at her shirt" so he picked me up ;) They were very excited and I caused quite the stir! The rest of the evening was spent with Gma chasing me around the house and me playing the piano. After dinner we skiped Aunt Sarah so we could tell her and told Uncle David over the phone since he wasn't home.
I played so hard that I was exhausted by 5:30. So we left early and went home. After we got home we went next door to show the neighbors as Josh had spoken to Jason about siblings just yesterday. when mom unzipped my jacket to show him I just cried - I was afraid that we were going to stay! but we didn't stay long and went right upstairs to change into my PJ's. daddy came running up with mom's laptop and had his sister on skype so I could show her too though I wasn't as cooperative because I was sleepy. It was a short conversation then mom put me to bed.
What a buisy day!
