I did great all morning I didn't even try to lift up mom's shirt for a drink! I didn't miss eating as much as mommy thought I would - there was just too much going on. Daddy held me while he signed the paperwork. Mommy kept trying to take me but I wanted to see what was going on. There was a nice guy walking around the office I kept leaning over to get a look at him and what he was doing (we found out later that he was the nurse practitioner). Then we sat down in the waiting room for a while and I walked around for a while between mom and dad until I saw the lego table - I dropped my lovies and ran over to play :)
We got called to the back and mommy put me on the big girl bed it even had had my name on it though I didn't stay on it long there were lots of people to meet.
I wandered down the hallway and found a giraffe on the wall. mom and the nurse showed me what it was there for and got my height - I am now two and a half feet and 22 LBS. Boy am I growing fast! I didn't seem to notice that mom was nervous I was trying to make friends and wandering around.
The nurse finally came to take me at 8:35. I didn't even fuss when she took me out of the room. They put me to sleep and when I woke up my ears hurt and I felt funny. Mommy and daddy were not in the room. They walked in and took me from the nurse but couldn't calm me down. We went home as soon as they let me - we were on the road by 9:30.
I cried the whole way home but fell asleep just as we were pulling in to the driveway. I woke up when mom carried me into the house but she rocked me to sleep and I slept for almost 2 hours. Once I woke up I felt better. Daddy even gave me some frosty because I was such a good girl! I guess all I needed to feel better was a nap, some food and frosty!
All in all it wasn't so bad though I didn't like the drops that they had to put in my ears...
