Today is mommy's birthday and daddy comes home from his trip! We had a great start to the morning as I was chipper and happy when mommy and Grandma came to get me. We even had a good time playing before we had to leave. Life is easier when mommy doesn't have to do stuff in the morning and can just play!
When she came to get me we played a little but mom seemed to be in a hurry to get home she kept telling me "daddy's home lets go!" I did ok in the car but I really didn't want to be there. When mommy opened the car door and I saw daddy I really wanted to get out! She put me down and I ran strait to him laughing. It was great to see him again! We had a lot of fun playing in the yard until dinner time when I didn't want to get in my chair and wear my bib, but once I got eating I did really well. Daddy and I had this salmon dish that mom got from the store that had carrots and rice - I even ate the rice! Mommy even shared a small piece of her chocolate cake with me! It was so yummy I kept asking for more but she said there was none left :P
Then we went outside to eat a Popsicle and play in the back yard! It was a great day until we got to bath time and mommy washed my hair :( I hate having my hair washed.
